California hiking trails - Ruth Hayfork Trail, Klamath Mountains, Trinity County

The total elevation difference for Ruth Hayfork Trail is 2,939 feet, and that is higher than average. This is one of a very small number of wilderness hiking trails in this vicinity. Being 13.2 miles long; it's longer than many backcountry trails. Spending too much time indoors
    got you down? No problem, Ruth Hayfork Trail in Trinity County, California is such a perfect spot. Ruth Hayfork Trail is quite long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. At Ruth Hayfork Trail throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it
descends down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Ruth Hayfork Trail descend into the 30's. These hiking and backpacking trails here in the Klamath Mountains are a splendid way to explore these peaks. Every single California wilderness hiking trail is worth backcountry backpacking. This backpacking and hiking trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions  
in place. You'll need to go far from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna to get to Ruth Hayfork Trail, but it sure is a a perfect great outdoors hiking trail. The high level of rainfall makes Ruth Hayfork Trail a reasonably wet spot; December is the wettest month with most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry trek, 2 days normally, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Sometimes this backpacking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The length of Ruth Hayfork Trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a nice wilderness hiking trail for experienced trekkers in great shape. This backcountry trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.

Briefly about the general area:
Double Cabin Flat is a splendid place to check out, and get your pulse rate up on the brilliant whitewater of Mad River. While you're here at Ruth Hayfork Trail you must visit Rattlesnake Point, and Ruth Hayfork Trail is near Clover Gulch which is certainly worth checking out.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Klamath Mountains. Put some time aside to spend at Allen Spring while you're here at Ruth Hayfork Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Ruth Hayfork Trail has to offer, you can camp at Fern Campground. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the Klamath Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. There's whitewater on Trinity River - South Fork for all you adrenaline people. There's so much to do here at Ruth Hayfork Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Forest Glen Campground is a glorious site for that.
Tompkins Creek is a wonderful site to stop at, and Johnson Glades is a tremendous spot. So many cool things to do at Ruth Hayfork Trail, so little time. Some of the water close by flows, like Anada Creek; a trip to Wiregrass Springs will fill your spirit with tremendous feelings.
