This great outdoors trail has a total elevation difference of 1,575 feet which is about average. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 2 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This backcountry trail is not that long but it's always nice to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. With its 2.2 miles of walking distance it's a short hiking and backpacking trail. This backcountry trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. Some parts of Rouse Hill-Bautista Canyon Trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking and backpacking trail, and that means that some parts of the hiking and backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it.
