This place, Round Lake Trail, it simply has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. This river has it all. Grouse Ridge Campground is a fine campground here, and Loney Meadow is a delightful place
here at Round Lake Trail.
Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A perfect location for whitewater paddling close to Round Lake Trail is Yuba River - South Fork, and since you're here, you could check out
Alder Creek. Get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Fordyce Creek, and Round Lake Trail is a good location to camp, Carr-Feeley Campground is a good location. A quick journey to Money Creek close to Round Lake Trail is a great idea; you'll meet a lot of folks from Truckee-Grass Valley here.
