Now this backcountry trail is pretty long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies.

Briefly about the general area:
Just can't get enough of the Klamath Mountains. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Trinity River - South Fork, and La Flume Basin is right here at Rough Gulch Trail. And that's not all you can do here in the Klamath Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Mad River offers some great whitewater; camping is available at Forest Glen Campground.
This is a great river. A trip to Maple Spring will fill your soul with brilliant feelings, and don't forget to explore Rattlesnake Point while you're here. A spree to Horse Pasture revives the soul, and camping at Fern Campground is always a glorious experience. This river is so wonderful.
It's always wonderful to go to Water Trough Spring, and needless to say Little Silver Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth checking out. Yeah, come here to Rough Gulch Trail for a glorious time. Don't forget to take a delightful little journey to Silver Creek, and Rough Gulch is close by, and is a perfect site.
