Red Peak Trail is a two ended backcountry trail with two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Some parts of Red Peak Trail are much higher up than other parts of the trail, and that means that some parts of the trail could be very different from other parts of it. With its 13 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer walk. Of course, this is an overnight walk, 2 days normally, so better have big a backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Keep in mind that this is a long backpacking and hiking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies.
