Being 5.8 miles long it's a mid length trek. Raywood Flat Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Raywood Flat Trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Raywood Flat Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. This backpacking and hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
