There is only one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry hiking it in and back out. This trek shouldn't take more than 8.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Being 9.8 miles long; it's a long great outdoors hiking trail. Keep in mind that this is a long backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. Sometimes this backpacking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire.
