This part of California has a wonderful deal of available outdoors activities. Here in the magnificent state of California backcountry backpacking is an outstanding way to spend some time. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Every hiking trail in California has its own unique prettiness. Relatively far from Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario you come across Ramona Trail,
    but it is a really good great outdoors trail. Ramona Trail is a location that is pretty dried out generally; the month with most of the rain is March; June meanwhile is the driest month. There are so many hiking trails in this region. Ramona Trail is 3.2 miles long it's shorter
than many hiking and backpacking trails. This backpacking trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. For the duration of the summer months at Ramona Trail highs are mostly in the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Ramona Trail are in the 30's. The time needed for this walk is roughly 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so  
be prepared for that. There is only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out walk. The picturesque trails of the Santa Rosa Mountains are a really magnificent way to spend quality time in the great outdoors. Even though this is not a very long backpacking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Ramona Trail is on the short side having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a good hiking trail for the average person looking for a good adventure. The total elevation difference for Ramona Trail is 1,792 feet which is an average number. Some parts of Ramona Trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking and backpacking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations.
