Ramona Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,792 feet which is about average. The time needed for this backcountry hike is roughly 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. At parts of the year this neighborhood sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. With its 3.2 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many hiking trails. This is a one trailhead backpacking trail, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Even though this is not a very long trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Different parts of this hiking trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail.
