California hiking trails - Ramona Trail, Santa Rosa Mountains, Riverside County

   
  There are many splendid hiking trails in California, and among these are Ramona Trail in Riverside County. A visit to California is not complete without some backcountry hiking. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the great outdoors a bit, and Ramona Trail in Riverside County, California is just the site. Different parts of Ramona Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. Ramona Trail is a hiking trail pretty far from Riverside-San
    Bernardino-Ontario, but it's one of those sites where backcountry trekking is brilliant. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Ramona Trail is 3.2 miles long it's shorter than many hiking trails. This great outdoors hiking trail is not that long but you should
still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Around Ramona Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and June is when it's the driest. This wilderness trail is a very short wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a wonderful backcountry trail for the average person looking for a wonderful adventure. This wilderness trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally. These wilderness trails here in the Santa Rosa Mountains  
are a perfect way to explore these highlands. Going for a hike here in California never gets boring. This trek shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This is a vicinity covered with lots of backcountry trails. Ramona Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,792 feet which is an average number. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Ramona Trail with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 60's while Ramona Trail nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 30's. There are plenty of hiking trails in California; each one of them is well worth a hike.

Tool Box Spring is a nice local attraction. There's so much to do here at Ramona Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Tool Box Spring Campground is a tremendous spot for that. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! The Santa Rosa Mountains rules! Magee Spring is a stunning site to stop at while you're at Ramona Trail; Ramona Trail is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Ramona Campground is a wonderful local campground.
