A wooded area close to Pohono Trail is Tuolumne Grove, and Cascade Dam is gorgeous. Silver Strand Falls is a brilliant local attraction, and if you come at the right time of year, Yosemite Creek offers
some perfect whitewater.
Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. A visit to Summit Meadow rejuvenates the spirit; obviously Meadow Brook is a charming stream that is worth a visit. Man, is there loads of amusing stuff to do near Pohono Trail.
