During the months of summer here at Paradise Trail, high temperatures usually reach the 60's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Paradise Trail throughout the winter frequently drop into the 30's. enough to do the job. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and Paradise Trail in Del Norte County, California is such an outstanding location. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. The picturesque
hiking and backpacking trails of the Coast Ranges are a really good way to spend quality time in the fresh air. This is one of a very small number of backcountry hiking trails in this neighborhood. Different parts of Paradise Trail are at very different elevations which of course
means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking trail. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 1,561 feet which is about average. Paradise Trail is 15.2 miles long; it's considered a longer walk. Paradise Trail has
two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way.
Briefly about the general area: You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Coast Ranges has to offer. Paradise Flat is right here at Paradise Trail,
and you can stay the night at Hiouchi Hamlet RV Resort. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Paradise Trail. A forest in the neighborhood of Paradise Trail is Stout Grove; don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Deer Creek. There are plenty of people from
Crescent City North here at Paradise Trail, and Big Flat Campground is a wonderful campground nearby. Pigeon Roost Spring is a great local attraction, and do have a look at Rock Creek while you're here at Paradise Trail. Having a wonderful time in the Coast Ranges is easy.
Mud Spring is a gorgeous place to pop by while you're at Paradise Trail, and if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Smith River - South Fork. A pleasant site to explore close to Paradise Trail is Allens Gulch, and if you haven’t been
to Redwood National and State Parks, you should schedule some time for it if you're here. A pleasant place like Haines Flat here at Paradise Trail is too delightful to miss, and whitewater paddling is great on Goose Creek.
