California hiking trails - Paradise Trail, Coast Ranges, Del Norte County

   
  Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the fresh air a bit, and Paradise Trail in Del Norte County, California is such a perfect place. Backcountry hiking trails for backcountry backpacking, and backpacking can be found all over California; Paradise Trail is one of them, and it's in Del Norte County. Hiking in California is such a perfect thing to do. There are plenty of backcountry trails in California; each one of them has its own character. This region does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions
    with local forest authorities before you head out. This is a hiking and backpacking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Here in the glorious state of California backcountry backpacking is always an exciting thing to do. Pretty far from Crescent City
North you bump into Paradise Trail, but many folks like to backcountry hike here to be close to the fresh air. Paradise Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can trek it just one way. This is one of a very small number of wilderness hiking trails in this vicinity. This wilderness trail is a very long wilderness trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a glorious wilderness hiking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in tremendous shape. This hike should take you about 2.5 days, so it's a good  
thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. The high level of rainfall makes Paradise Trail a reasonably wet location; December is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. Throughout the warm days of summer at Paradise Trail highs are usually in the 60's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's while Paradise Trail night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. These wilderness trails here in the Coast Ranges are a very perfect way to see these mountains. This backcountry hiking trail goes through some very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backcountry hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. This backpacking and hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,561 feet which is about average. With its 15.2 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer hike.

Briefly about the general area:
Don't forget to take a fine little trip to Rock Creek; float down the rapids of Smith River - South Fork in a kayak. Having a wonderful time in the Coast Ranges is uncomplicated. Camping is available at Hiouchi Hamlet RV Resort, and not far from here you can enjoy the trees of Stout Grove.
Camping at Big Flat Campground is always a good experience, and if you come at the right time of year, Goose Creek offers some glorious whitewater. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Paradise Trail. People from Crescent City North love to come to Paradise Trail, and Paradise Flat is a tremendous site to check out. Redwood National and State Parks is a glorious national park, and you might also want to pay a visit to Allens Gulch since you're here at Paradise Trail.
But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Why not stop at close by Deer Creek if you're here at Paradise Trail; don't leave Paradise Trail without first paying a visit to Mud Spring. A spree to Haines Flat invigorates the spirit, and Pigeon Roost Spring is an inspiring spot to explore during your stay.
