the option of backcountry backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. At parts of the year this vicinity sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Being 15.2 miles
| | long; it's considered a longer backcountry walk. Through the long summer days, highs ordinarily are in the 60's at Paradise Trail while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Paradise Trail. There are many great backcountry hiking trails in California, and one of these is Paradise Trail in Del Norte County. parts of Paradise Trail are much higher up than other parts of the hiking trail, and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Of course, this is an overnight backcountry hike, 2.5 days normally, so better have big backpack to
fit all the stuff you need. The total elevation difference for Paradise Trail is 1,561 feet which is about average. This is one of a very small number of hiking trails in this area. This is a long hiking trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Paradise Trail is many miles
long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough hiking trail for advanced trekkers looking for a good challenge. Paradise Trail is not very close to Crescent City North at all, but it sure is a a magnificent great outdoors hiking trail. There are
numerous backcountry hiking trails in California, and each one is worth backcountry hiking.
Briefly about the general area: Allens Gulch is near Paradise Trail and is certainly a good site to stop at, and a pleasant visit to Haines Flat is a delightful way to spend an
afternoon. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Coast Ranges is unbeatable! Paddling on Goose Creek is so much fun, and a forest nearby is Stout Grove. Mud Spring is always fun to check out, and you're sure to come across some good folks from Crescent City North here.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Coast Ranges has to offer. There's so much to do here at Paradise Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Hiouchi Hamlet RV Resort is a pleasant place for that, and there's some flowing water close by, Deer Creek
is a stream you can stop at while you're here. If you haven’t been to Redwood National and State Parks, you should schedule some time for it since you're here; do set aside some time for Paradise Flat while you're here at Paradise Trail. Any time is a delightful time at Paradise
Trail if you fancy the outdoors. Put some time aside to spend at Pigeon Roost Spring while you're here at Paradise Trail, and naturally Rock Creek flows through this region. Whitewater paddling is fine on Smith River - South Fork. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Paradise Trail has to offer, you can camp at Big Flat Campground.
