about the general area: Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. If you came for an overnight stay Talbot Campground is a good spot to camp, and Yuba River - South Fork is a good whitewater spot nearby. Emigrant Canyon is in the neighborhood of Painted Rock Trail
and is a good location; why not camp at Onion Creek Campground if you're here at Painted Rock Trail. Don't forget to take a glorious little tour to South Fork Cold Creek. Chief Creek is a stunning stream that is worth a visit, and Soda Springs is an inspiring site to explore while you're here.
