a magnificent adventure. This backpacking and hiking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Old Pine Trail is 5.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 1,145 feet which is about average. This backpacking and hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. California has so much to offer the fresh air lovers. Please  
follow all local rules about fires and camping. For the period of the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Old Pine Trail with night lows in the 40's. Through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's, and night lows at Old Pine Trail during the wintertime typically plunge into the 30's. This backcountry trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry trek. This is one of many backpacking and hiking trails in the surrounding vicinity. You spend the whole backcountry walk in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole wilderness hiking trail. The time needed for this walk is roughly 4.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Old Pine Trail is not very next to Santa Rosa-Petaluma at all, but it is one of many magnificent great outdoors trails in this neighborhood.

One of the best things about Old Pine Trail is its proximity to Kelham Beach, and you can stay the night at Olema Ranch Campgrounds. During your stay at Old Pine Trail do go to close by Sculptured Beach. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Old Pine Trail has to offer, you can camp at Sky Campground. If you're here, you might as well have a look at Bear Valley, and do pay a visit to Point Reyes National Seashore since you're here at Old Pine Trail.
So much exciting stuff to do here at Old Pine Trail, too fine to be true. A visit to Point Resistance in close proximity to Old Pine Trail is always a magnificent idea, and Divide Meadow is right here at Old Pine Trail.
