For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Oak Spring Trail. Around Oak Spring Trail you don’t get a lot of rain; the wettest
month of the year is mostly February, that's the one that rains the most, and July is when it's the driest. Hiking here in the San Gabriel Mountains is a really fine way to spend quality time in the wilderness. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end, so hiking

Yep, outdoors fun stuff truly is plentiful here in the San Gabriel Mountains. A delightful site to camp here at Oak Spring Trail is Dutch Louie Campground. This is no site for
people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Center Creek is next to Oak Spring Trail and is always a bliss to take a look at, and Fascination Spring is a magnificent local attraction.
Alder Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at, and Oak Spring Trail
is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Honeybee Campground is a fine local campground. A journey to Haines Debris Basin revitalizes the spirit; while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana. There's no way someone can get bored
here in the San Gabriel Mountains. A good place to explore right next door to Oak Spring Trail is Boulder Canyon; do put some time aside to spend at Oak Spring if you're here at Oak Spring Trail.
Dagger Flat is a splendid spot to check out, and nearby you discover Bisker.
