out. All the water falling down from the sky makes North Side Trail a wet spot; most of the rain falls through January, and July is when it's the driest. This wilderness hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 371 feet which is lower than average. Being 4.8 miles long
it's an average length hiking trail. Tremendous backpacking and hiking trails in California are in abundance; one of them being North Side Trail in Marin County. This hiking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
North Side Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.

A tremendous beach right next door to North Side Trail is Red Rock Beach. You'll need more
than a day to look at everything North Side Trail has to offer, you can camp at Laurel Dell Campground. North Side Trail beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Beaches are wonderful; and Muir Beach near North Side Trail is no exception, and Muir Woods National
Monument is a glorious site close by.
It's always great to explore Dawn Falls, and a visit to Azalea Flat revitalizes the soul. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area in the vicinity of North Side Trail has to offer. Why not take a look at
Pine Point also while you're here, and everybody loves Double Bowknot.
Don't leave North Side Trail without first paying a visit to Colier Spring, and Cascade Dam is delightful. This is a popular place for folks from San Francisco-Oakland-Fremont, and a wonderful forest close
by is Cathedral Grove. Some of the water nearby flows, like East Fork Fern Creek, and if you would like a little side spree, try Fish Gulch.
There's so much to do here at North Side Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Golden Gate Trailer Court is a magnificent location for that, and getting to East Fork Lagunitas Creek from North Side Trail is simple.
