This backcountry trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be trekking it in and back out. Being 2.2 miles long it's shorter than many hiking trails. This trek shouldn't take more than 2 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. The total elevation difference for this backcountry trail is 876 feet which is a lower than average number. Morrow Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. Even though this is not a very long great outdoors hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
