This hiking and backpacking trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. This backcountry trail is not that long but it's always glorious to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. Morgan Trail is a normal length backpacking and hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a tremendous backcountry hiking trail for the average person looking for a tremendous adventure. This part of California has a glorious deal of available outdoors things to do. California has plenty of perfect backpacking trails; one of these is Morgan Trail in Riverside County.

Briefly about the general area:
A short journey to Pigeon Spring is always worthwhile, and Morgan Trail is not far at all from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Morgan Trail has to offer, you can camp at Ortega Oaks RV Park and Campground, and Lion Spring is a beautiful spot to pop by while you're at Morgan Trail.
Round Potrero is a charming site any time of year; Morgan Trail is close to Edwards Canyon which is undeniably worth a visit. There's so much to do here at Morgan Trail that you need to camp here for a while, El Cariso Campground is a great location for that; Morrell Potrero is a nice spot to check out. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot.
