Briefly about the general area: Japacha Spring is a charming
location to stop at while you're at Monument Trail, and camping is available at Thousand Trails. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Santa Rosa Mountains, not enough time. A short visit to Green Valley Falls is always worthwhile, and why not a little side tour to Arroyo Seco.
If you came for an overnight stay Oakzanita Springs Campground is a wonderful spot to camp. A tremendous site to explore near Monument Trail is Green Valley; do stop at Juaquapin Creek while you're here at Monument Trail.
