Throughout the long summer days at Monte Rio Fire Trail highs are mostly in the 60's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 50's with winter lows in the 40's overnight here at Monte Rio Fire Trail. This is one of a very small

and Freezeout Flat is a great place to stretch your legs a bit. A good location close to Monte Rio Fire Trail is Schoolhouse Gulch; a visit to Fern Spring will fill your soul with magnificent feelings. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in
the Coast Ranges. There's some flowing water close by, Smith Creek is a stream you can explore while here, and a fine location to camp here at Monte Rio Fire Trail is Rien's Beach. Hit the beach if you want, Gleason Beach is practically right here, and why not camp at Casini Ranch
Family Campground since you're here at Monte Rio Fire Trail. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Coast Ranges. Lots of folks from Santa Rosa-Petaluma come to Monte Rio Fire Trail.
