about the general area: You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Mist Trail. Vernal Fall is an inspiring location to stop at while you're here, and since you're here why not stop at Illilouette Gorge. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always
go whitewater paddling on Yosemite Creek; some nearby water includes Tenaya Creek. Tenaya Creek has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot close by; camping at North Pines Campground is always a perfect experience. Do pay a visit to Yosemite National Park if you're here at
Mist Trail, and don't leave Mist Trail without first paying a visit to Silver Apron. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. If you came to camp Upper Pines Campground is a pleasant site to do that, and Illilouette Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. All the outdoors cool stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back repeatedly.
