California hiking trails - Miners Ridge Trail, Coast Ranges, Humboldt County

   
  California is a magnificent place for trekkers. California has plenty of pleasant hiking and backpacking trails, and Miners Ridge Trail in Humboldt County is one of them. You'll have to go far from Crescent City North to get to Miners Ridge Trail, but when you hike it you're always having a tremendous time. At Miners Ridge Trail through the long summer days highs are in the 60's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at
    Miners Ridge Trail drop into the 30's. Keep in mind that this is a long backcountry trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This backcountry trail sometimes gets very dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make
a camp fire. The length of this backpacking and hiking trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a wonderful trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in glorious shape. There is only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to backcountry hike it normally. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The high level of rainfall makes Miners Ridge Trail a pretty wet spot; December is the wettest month with most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. Spending too much time indoors got you down? No problem,  
Miners Ridge Trail in Humboldt County, California is just the location. Every hiking and backpacking trail in California is well worth a hike. There are so many trails in this neighborhood. This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 617 feet, and that is lower than average. You spend the whole backcountry walk in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. Miners Ridge Trail is 7.4 miles long it's an average length backpacking and hiking trail. Trekking here in the Coast Ranges is a very fine way to see these summits. You should count on this hike taking about 6.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Here in the pleasant state of California backcountry hiking is something that is always fun to do.

A splendid site for whitewater paddling close to Miners Ridge Trail is Klamath River, and swing by Boyes Creek it's a delightful location to pop by. Any time is a tremendous time at Miners Ridge Trail if you adore the outdoors. Here at Miners Ridge Trail you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Crescent City North.
Now, you may imagine that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Coast Ranges. You can run the rapids of Redwood Creek near Miners Ridge Trail, and why not camp at Klamath River RV Park if you're here at Miners Ridge Trail. Near Miners Ridge Trail you come across wonderful locations like Fern Canyon; if you came for an overnight stay Klamath Glen Resort is a tremendous spot to camp. This river is so good. Beaches are great; and Gold Bluffs Beach in the vicinity of Miners Ridge Trail is no exception, and some of the water close by flows, like Godwood Creek.
