If you feel like a little side spree, try Cook Canyon; Dogwood Campground is a great campground here. So much amusing stuff to do in the San Bernardino Mountains, not enough time. Not far from McKinley Firebreak you acquire some good water scenery at Dynamite Dam, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario for sure.
