This hiking trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to hike it normally. Sometimes this hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. The time needed for this trek is roughly 6 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This is a long hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Manzanita Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish.
