Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. The total elevation difference for Lost Canyon Trail is 3,648 feet which is higher than average. This wilderness trail is many miles long with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a great backcountry hiking
trail for experienced walkers in great shape. Now, this is roughly a 3-day backcountry walk, so make sure you've got all your overnight gear packed. During the days of summer at Lost Canyon Trail highs are mostly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. All
through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Lost Canyon Trail. A lengthy tour divides Gardnerville Ranchos from Lost Canyon Trail, but hiking trails like these are good.

is a glorious location to spend some time at; a journey to Lost Canyon Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Wild Horse Spring. It's a tremendous idea to pop by Lost Cannon Creek, it's next to Lost Canyon Trail; get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of West
Walker River. Having a great time in the Central Sierra Nevada is easy. While you're here at Lost Canyon Trail it's a good idea to visit China Garden. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. Chris Flat Campground
is a great campground here; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend West Walker River. If you came for an overnight stay Bootleg Campground is a great site to camp; a short journey to Llewellyn Falls is always worthwhile. You just can't
envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area in the vicinity of Lost Canyon Trail has to offer. A quick spree to Mill Creek next to Lost Canyon Trail is a fine idea; do set aside some time for Little Antelope Valley if you're here at Lost Canyon Trail.
