California hiking trails - Lanyan Trail, Klamath Mountains, Tehama County

Lanyan Trail is a mid-length backcountry hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a great hiking trail for experienced backcountry trekkers in magnificent shape. Trekking here in the Klamath Mountains  
is a really perfect way to spend quality time in the wilderness. California has so much to offer the wilderness lovers. This is one of a very small number of hiking trails in this neighborhood. Lanyan Trail is a one trailhead hiking trail, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry hike.

Elder Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and do set aside some time for Cooks Flat if you're here at Lanyan Trail. This location, the Klamath Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. You must absolutely dedicate some time to Wakefield Flat while you're here at Lanyan Trail, and don't leave Lanyan Trail without first paying a visit to Sulphur Spring.
So much enjoyable stuff close to Lanyan Trail, truly striking. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cottonwood Creek - South Fork; since you're here, you could pop by South Fork Dry Creek. So many entertaining things to do in the Klamath Mountains, not enough time. Lanyan Trail is a good place to visit for more than one day, Whitlock Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and you can stay the night at Saddle Camp Campground.
Boulder Point is close at hand and always nice to stop by; a magnificent location nearby is Long Gulch. A quick visit to North Fork Dry Creek in the vicinity of Lanyan Trail is a magnificent idea, and Sulphur Spring is an inspiring location to have a look at while you're here.
