goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. High temperatures at Lake Ridge Trail through the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend
down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Lake Ridge Trail. Lake Ridge Trail is a two ended wilderness hiking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if
you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.
Briefly about the general area: So many cool things close to Lake Ridge Trail, definitely tremendous. Don't leave Lake Ridge Trail without
first paying a visit to Plowshare Spring. Stay the night at Brookshire Campground; do set aside some time for Pine Flat since you're here at Lake Ridge Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Ridge Trail has to offer, you can camp at Kerry Canyon Campground;
whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cuyama River. Horseshoe Canyon is a great place to take a look at in the neighborhood of Lake Ridge Trail, and some close by water includes Sheep Camp Creek. This site, the Sierra Madre, has so much
outdoors enjoyable things. A tour to Porter Spring will fill your spirit with good feelings; why not take a little trip to Clear Creek since you're here.
