California hiking trails - Lake Ridge Trail, Sierra Madre, Santa Barbara County

   
  Lake Ridge Trail is a great outdoors hiking trail quite far from Santa Barbara-Santa Maria-Goleta, but what an excellent spot for backcountry hiking it is. There are many fine backcountry hiking trails in California, and Lake Ridge Trail is one of them, and it's in Santa Barbara County. Backcountry backpacking here in California is so much fun. This is one of a very small number of great outdoors trails in this vicinity. Every California backcountry hiking trail has its own unique beauty. Lake Ridge Trail is frequently a reasonably waterless site; the
    month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month of the year is July. The total elevation difference for this wilderness hiking trail is 1,833 feet which is about average. Gotta get out of the urban center man, and Lake Ridge Trail in Santa Barbara County, California
is an excellent selection. Backpacking in California is such a tremendous thing to do. This is a long backcountry hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. The gorgeous hiking trails of the Sierra Madre are a tremendous way to explore these highlands. This hiking trail is a mid length hiking trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a splendid great  
outdoors trail for experienced backcountry hikers in great shape. You should count on this trek taking about 8 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Lake Ridge Trail is 9 miles long it's a mid length hike. Lake Ridge Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking trail. High temperatures at Lake Ridge Trail through the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Lake Ridge Trail. Lake Ridge Trail is a two ended wilderness hiking trail with two trailheads which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go.

Briefly about the general area:
So many cool things close to Lake Ridge Trail, definitely tremendous. Don't leave Lake Ridge Trail without first paying a visit to Plowshare Spring. Stay the night at Brookshire Campground; do set aside some time for Pine Flat since you're here at Lake Ridge Trail.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lake Ridge Trail has to offer, you can camp at Kerry Canyon Campground; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cuyama River. Horseshoe Canyon is a great place to take a look at in the neighborhood of Lake Ridge Trail, and some close by water includes Sheep Camp Creek. This site, the Sierra Madre, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. A tour to Porter Spring will fill your spirit with good feelings; why not take a little trip to Clear Creek since you're here.
