one trailhead, so you'll be backcountry trekking it in and back out. Sometimes this backpacking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. There are not too many wilderness trails in this area. The lovely backpacking trails of the Central Sierra Nevada are the best way to enjoy these peaks. The total elevation difference for Kings River Trail is 2,759 feet, and that is higher than average. Hiking trails for trekking, and backpacking can be found all over California; one  
of them being Kings River Trail in Inyo County. Kings River Trail is a very long backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this wilderness trail good for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. Around Kings River Trail you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during January this area sees the most rain; June on the other hand is the driest. This is a backpacking trail that is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Kings River Trail is pretty distant from the least distant town, and it's one of those spots where hiking is wonderful. Different parts of Kings River Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the hiking and backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it.

Looking for some flowing water? Try Cow Creek, and a great spot like Coyote Flat here at Kings River Trail is too glorious to miss. This river is so perfect. Kings River - Middle Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Second Falls.
If only every location had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great planet it would be. North Fork Big Pine Creek is a good local stream, and you must without doubt dedicate some time to Sanger Meadow if you're here at Kings River Trail. Kings River Trail is a delightful location to camp, First Falls Campground is a delightful location, and a journey to Grouse Spring will fill your spirit with wonderful feelings. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a glorious time.
