California hiking trails - James Irvine Trail, Coast Ranges, Humboldt County

   
  Every California hiking and backpacking trail has its own unique beauty. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and James Irvine Trail in Humboldt County, California is a great place for getting out. When you're here in California backcountry hiking along one of its hiking and backpacking trails never gets boring. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of hiking trails. A large amount of precipitation falls at James Irvine Trail; the month with most of the rain is December; the driest month of the year is July. Rather far from Crescent City North
    you bump into James Irvine Trail, but it is one of many magnificent wilderness hiking trails in this vicinity. This is a long hiking trail, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. Sometimes this hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before
you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. At James Irvine Trail through the warm months highs are in the 60's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, usually in the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at James Irvine Trail. The time needed for this trek is roughly 8 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. The total elevation difference for James Irvine Trail is 273 feet which is a lower than average number. This trail is a mid length trail  
with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail delightful for hard core backpackers looking for adventure. This backpacking and hiking trail has two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. California is a magnificent place for outdoors folks. The trails of the Coast Ranges are the best way to enjoy these mountains. There's not much difference in elevation along the great outdoors trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek. There are so many pleasant hiking and backpacking trails for backcountry hiking in California, and James Irvine Trail is one of them, and it's in Humboldt County. James Irvine Trail is 8.8 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek.

Briefly about the general area:
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Stay the night at Kamp Klamath Campground and RV Park, and a great place to have a look at close by is Fern Canyon. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The Coast Ranges rocks! While you're here at James Irvine Trail you must take a look at Mussel Point, and some close by water includes Home Creek.
Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Redwood Creek; you can spend the day on the beach at Gold Bluffs Beach. There's whitewater on Klamath River for all you adrenaline people, and at James Irvine Trail you always meet someone from Crescent City North. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Coast Ranges has to offer.
Klamath River RV Park is a glorious campground here, and Squashan Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting.
