California hiking trails - James Irvine Trail, Coast Ranges, Humboldt County

   
  Hiking here in California is a must. Ok, you've been cooped up too long, time to get out in the wilderness a bit, and James Irvine Trail in Humboldt County, California is a really wonderful place to spend some time. If you happen to be in California, why not go backcountry hiking, it is the great thing to do. There are so many great outdoors hiking trails in this neighborhood. This wilderness trail is a normal length wilderness trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough great outdoors hiking trail for advanced backcountry
    walkers looking for a magnificent challenge. Backcountry trails are great and plentiful in California, and among these are James Irvine Trail in Humboldt County. Summer brings highs in the 60's to James Irvine Trail. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. Highs during
the wintertime are usually in the 50's, and night lows during the wintertime for James Irvine Trail tend to be in the 30's. You should count on this backcountry walk taking about 8 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Hiking here in the Coast Ranges is the best way to enjoy these mountains. It's a lengthy drive from Crescent City North to James Irvine Trail, but there's wonderful natural attractiveness awaiting you here along it. This wilderness hiking trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions  
and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. James Irvine Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. You spend the whole walk in roughly the same elevation zone which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. Every great outdoors trail in California is worth backcountry hiking. James Irvine Trail is 8.8 miles long it's a mid length walk. Lots of precipitation falls at James Irvine Trail; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest month of the year is July. James Irvine Trail has a total elevation difference of 273 feet, and that is lower than average. James Irvine Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way.

Fern Canyon is in close proximity to James Irvine Trail and is positively a great site to check out; whitewater paddling is great on Redwood Creek.
Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at James Irvine Trail. At James Irvine Trail you always meet someone from Crescent City North, and you must certainly stop at picturesque Gold Bluffs Beach since you're here. You are close to Mussel Point since you're here at James Irvine Trail; why not go to close by Home Creek while you're here at James Irvine Trail. Camping is available at Klamath River RV Park, and get wet paddling on Klamath River.
Why not camp at Kamp Klamath Campground and RV Park if you're here at James Irvine Trail, and don't forget to take a perfect little tour to Squashan Creek.
