It's a long drive from Crescent City North to Hope Creek Trail, but it sure is a an outstanding backcountry hiking trail. Hope Creek Trail has a total elevation difference of 500 feet which is a lower than average number. The wilderness hiking trail stays roughly within the same
elevation zone the whole time which means the conditions are about the same from start to finish. The time needed for this trek is roughly 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that.

The nice folks of Crescent City North like to hang out nearby; if you came for an overnight stay Klamath Glen Resort is a wonderful place to camp. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Coast Ranges has to offer. Take a little tour to Hope Creek since
you're here at Hope Creek Trail, and why not camp at Klamath River RV Park if you're here at Hope Creek Trail. On a fine day it's a glorious idea to spend the day at Gold Bluffs Beach; Redwood National and State Parks is a great site nearby. Getting to Little Creek from Hope
Creek Trail is painless, and nearby you hit upon Fern Canyon which is a delightful location to have a look at. But wait, there's more to do near Hope Creek Trail.
