California hiking trails - High Sierra Trail, Southern Sierra Nevada, Tulare County

   
  There are wilderness hiking trails all over California; one of them being High Sierra Trail in Tulare County. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and if you happen to be in Tulare County of California, High Sierra Trail is an outstanding local trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. A long drive separates Visalia-Porterville from High Sierra Trail, but it is a really wonderful trail. This is a backcountry hiking trail that is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. During the warm months highs here at High Sierra Trail get into
    the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to High Sierra Trail. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Different parts of
High Sierra Trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the backpacking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Sometimes this backcountry hiking trail gets really dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Of course, this is an overnight trek, 11.5 days normally, so it's a fine thing if your backpack is big enough to do the job. Every wilderness hiking trail in California is different from the others. High Sierra Trail is a one trailhead  
wilderness trail, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. California has lots of outdoors pursuits. The total elevation difference for this wilderness trail is 5,185 feet which is higher than average. These hiking and backpacking trails here in the Southern Sierra Nevada are a nice way to explore these mountains. High Sierra Trail is 76.8 miles long; it's considered a longer backcountry walk. If you happen to be in California, why not go trekking, it never gets boring. This is a neighborhood covered with lots of hiking trails. The length of this hiking and backpacking trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a brilliant hiking trail for experienced walkers in tremendous shape. High Sierra Trail is a great site of common precipitation; January is the month that gets the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.

Briefly about the general area:
So many enjoyable things to do here in the Southern Sierra Nevada, too nice to be true. Buck Creek is a great local stream; if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kaweah River - Middle Fork. Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Some of the water close by flows, like Castle Creek, and Alta Meadow is a glorious place.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything High Sierra Trail has to offer, you can camp at Log Bridge Campground; you are near Bobcat Point while you're here. There's so much to do here at High Sierra Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Aspen Hollow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park is a brilliant location for that, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Kaweah River.
Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a glorious national park; nearby you'll find a wooded region called Castle Creek Grove. A pleasant site in the vicinity of High Sierra Trail is Buck Canyon; do put some time aside to spend at Tokopah Falls if you're here at High Sierra Trail. That right there is a load already, but it continues; High Sierra Trail has it all. A visit to Bearpaw Meadow rejuvenates the soul; Wall Spring is a nice local attraction.
