Wilderness hiking trails are wonderful and plentiful in California, and Henderson Trail is one of them, and it's in Ventura County. Here in California trekking is so much fun. This is a long backpacking trail, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. The length of this wilderness trail is about average having an average number of uphill miles which makes this a very tough hiking and backpacking trail for advanced trekkers looking for a tremendous challenge. |

the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Henderson Trail fall into the 30's. You'll need to go far from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura to get to Henderson Trail, but backcountry trekking along this great outdoors trail is very amusing. This is just one of a large
number of hiking and backpacking trails in this region. Henderson Trail is pretty dried up usually; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. The time needed for this backcountry walk is roughly 5.5 hours, but you
never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Henderson Trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry trek it just one way. Time to get out, and breathe some fresh air, and Henderson Trail in Ventura County,
California is a tremendous pick. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location.
Briefly about the general area:
If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Sierra Madre. Henderson Trail is in the vicinity of Trail Canyon which
is without doubt worth visiting, and in the event that you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sespe Creek. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Gold Hill Campground is always a good experience.
Big Cedar Creek is
close to Henderson Trail and is always a joy to take a look at, and Henderson Trail is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Twin Pines Campground is a fine local campground. A pleasant spree to Gleason Flat is a great way to spend an afternoon; Piru Creek is a nice whitewater
spot close by. There's some flowing water nearby, Frazier Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Big Spring.
