During the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Heath Falls Overlook Trail.

Briefly about the general area:
Sugar Bowl is a tremendous location; hey, Palisade Creek is a magnificent local stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Heath Falls Overlook Trail has to offer, you can camp at Onion Creek Campground; places like Deadman Flat are brilliant to have a look at.
That right there is a load of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. Get soaked paddling on Fordyce Creek. Paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun, and Long Valley is without doubt a fine place to stop by. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna go home again. There's so much to do here at Heath Falls Overlook Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Van Norden Campground is a wonderful location for that; don't leave Heath Falls Overlook Trail without first paying a visit to Heath Spring.
You just have to like Heath Falls Overlook Trail. Serena Creek is a delightful place to have a look at; a spree to Soda Springs will fill your spirit with splendid feelings.
