This trail has a total elevation difference of 920 feet which is lower than average. With its 3.6 miles of walking distance it's shorter than many backpacking trails. You should count on this trek taking about 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. The backpacking trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry walk. This backpacking and hiking trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backcountry hiking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Sometimes this backpacking and hiking trail gets really dry, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go.
