in Sierra County, California is such a nice location. This hiking and backpacking trail has two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can walk it just one way. With its 12.6 miles of walking distance; it's longer than many backpacking trails. All through the days
of summer here at Halls Ranch Trail, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Halls Ranch Trail drop into the 20's.
Halls Ranch Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies.

for whitewater paddling is Yuba River - North Fork. You're sure to encounter some great people from Truckee-Grass Valley here; why not a little side journey to Saint Catherine Creek. A river like this is too good to miss. Put some time aside to spend at Miller Spring if you're
here at Halls Ranch Trail; swing by Bow Creek it's a brilliant spot to explore. Whohoo, so many fun things in one place! Halls Ranch Trail rocks! Cold Spring is always fun to check out, and Devils Canyon is in close proximity, and is a delightful spot.
