You spend the whole trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your trek. This is a two-ended hiking trail with two trailheads, so trekking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This wilderness trail sometimes gets very dry, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This wilderness trail is not that long but it's always splendid to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The time needed for this walk is roughly 1.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. This hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 896 feet which is a lower than average number. Being 1.6 miles long it's shorter than many hiking trails.
