This backcountry trail has a total elevation difference of 436 feet which is lower than average. This is not a very long hiking trail but it's always good to bring some emergency supplies, you never know what could happen. The time needed for this walk is roughly 1.5 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. With its 1.8 miles of walking distance it's a short hiking and backpacking trail. This backcountry trail has only one trailhead, so you're looking at an in and out backcountry walk. Sometimes this hiking trail gets really dry, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. There's not much difference in elevation along Greenpicker Trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking and backpacking trail.
