current fire restrictions before you go. At Green Valley Trail through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are frequently in the 40's with temperatures at Green Valley Trail dipping down into the
20's during winter nights. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is a two-ended backcountry hiking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. The amount of precipitation that falls at Green Valley Trail
is close to the national average; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and June is when it's the driest. This hike shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. This wilderness
trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail glorious for the average backcountry hiker looking for an enjoyable adventure.
Briefly about the general area: Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Green Valley
Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Siberia Creek Campground is a good local campground, and National Childreaus Forest is a brilliant forest area close by. You are near Lake View Point if you're here at Green Valley Trail, and since you're here, you might as
well take a look at Little Green Valley. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the San Bernardino Mountains. While you're here at Green Valley Trail you will meet lots of folks from close by Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, and Mojave National Preserve
is a very great spot to check out. Don't forget to take a pleasant little journey to North Fork Deep Creek. There's so much to do here at Green Valley Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Shady Cove Group Campground is a nice place for that.
