From a rainfall point of view General Creek Trail is a relatively normal place; the month of January is the wettest with most of the snow, and the driest month of the year is July.

A glorious spot next to General Creek Trail is Homewood Canyon. And that's not all you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Lester Beach is in the vicinity of General Creek Trail if you're in a beach type of mood, and a great place for whitewater paddling is American River - South Fork.
Rubicon Springs is an inspiring place to explore during your stay; don’t forget to visit Miller Meadows since you're here at General Creek Trail. Just can't get enough of the Northern Sierra Nevada. Stay the night at General Creek Campground, and a quick spree to McKinney Creek is positively a good idea. Hit the beach if you want, Calawee Cove Beach is practically right here, and do set aside some time for Onion Flat while you're here at General Creek Trail.
Just can't get enough of General Creek Trail. If you're here at General Creek Trail, you could have a look at North Miller Creek, and since you're here, do take a spree to McKinney Bay. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Silver Creek - South Fork.
