California hiking trails - Foothill Trail, Coast Ranges, Humboldt County

   
  There are numerous hiking and backpacking trails in California, and each one is worth backcountry hiking. Backcountry hiking trails for backcountry hiking, and backpacking can be found all over California, and one of these is Foothill Trail in Humboldt County. Backcountry trekking in California is the good thing to do. California is a nice outdoors state. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole trail. The time needed for this trek is roughly 3 hours, but you never
    know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. With its 3.6 miles of walking distance it's a shorter type backcountry trek. Foothill Trail has a total elevation difference of 235 feet which is lower than average. Foothill Trail has two trailheads, so
if you can get a ride from someone, you can hike it just one way. This region does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Foothill Trail reach the 60's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Foothill Trail are in the 30's. Foothill Trail is not very in the neighborhood of Crescent City North at all, but wilderness hiking trails like  
these are splendid. Hitting the wilderness hiking trails is always an amusing thing to do, and Foothill Trail in Humboldt County, California is a good site to go. The wilderness trails of the Coast Ranges are the best way to enjoy these highlands. Foothill Trail is a very short wilderness trail having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a perfect trail for the average person looking for a perfect adventure. This is one of many trails in the surrounding neighborhood. All the water falling down from the sky makes Foothill Trail a wet location; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Foothill Trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site.

Take a little journey to Brown Creek since you're here at Foothill Trail; Foothill Trail is a wonderful location to visit for more than one day, Klamath Glen Resort is a wonderful location to camp nearby. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. A trip to Gold Bluffs Beach near Foothill Trail is always a great idea, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Boyes Creek.
