California hiking trails - Foothill Trail, Coast Ranges, Humboldt County

   
  Every single California great outdoors trail is well worth a walk. Foothill Trail is located a rather long drive from Crescent City North, but backpacking and hiking trails like these are pleasant. You can't spend all your time indoors you need to get out once in a while, and if you happen to be in Humboldt County of California, Foothill Trail is a splendid local backpacking and hiking trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. Here in California backcountry hiking is a splendid idea. Foothill Trail sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with
    most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Nice great outdoors trails in California are in abundance; one of those is Foothill Trail in Humboldt County. With its 3.6 miles of walking distance it's a short hiking trail. Foothill Trail has two trailheads,
so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. You should count on this trek taking about 3 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Great outdoors trails like this one here in the Coast Ranges are the best way to enjoy these hills. Foothill Trail is on the short side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this hiking trail great for the average walker looking for an amusing adventure. This is a vicinity covered with lots of hiking trails. If you are  
in California during trekking season you have to go trekking. Summer at Foothill Trail comes with high temperatures in the 60's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Foothill Trail are in the 30's. Foothill Trail has a total elevation difference of 235 feet which is a lower than average number. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in place. At parts of the year this area sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This is not a very long hiking trail but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. Foothill Trail stays roughly within the same elevation zone the whole time, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry hike.

Briefly about the general area:
All the outdoors exciting things in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back many times. Boyes Creek is a good site to go to; time spent at Gold Bluffs Beach is always glorious.
Foothill Trail is a splendid spot to camp, Klamath Glen Resort is a splendid spot, and this is a popular place for people from Crescent City North. Brown Creek is a great local stream. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Foothill Trail has to offer, you can camp at Blackberry Patch RV Park.
