Foothill Trail is a two ended hiking and backpacking trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry hike it just one way. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 3 hours, but of course some people walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Foothill Trail is 3.6 miles long it's a short backpacking trail. Even though this is not a very long wilderness hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. The total elevation difference for this hiking and backpacking trail is 235 feet which is lower than average. This region does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. You spend the whole backcountry trek in roughly the same elevation zone, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your backcountry trek.
