Briefly about the general area: Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The Sierra Madre is excellent! If you
came to camp Sawmill Campground is a good site to do that, and if you're here at Fish Canyon Trail it's a fine idea to visit Oak Flat. Piru Creek has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Cienaga Spring is a great local attraction. Paddling on Piru Creek is so much fun.
There's so much to do here at Fish Canyon Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Atmore Meadows Campground is a delightful place for that. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Since you're here at Fish Canyon Trail why not stop at Burnt Peak Canyon. You
must beyond doubt dedicate some time to Atmore Meadows if you're here at Fish Canyon Trail, and Salt Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at.
