Eureka Lake Trail is 2.8 miles long it's a shorter type walk. This wilderness trail has a total elevation difference of 1,203 feet, and that is about average. This is a two-ended wilderness trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone, you can backcountry walk it just one way. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 2.5 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. There's not much difference in elevation along the hiking and backpacking trail, so you get pretty much the same conditions along the whole hiking and backpacking trail. This backcountry trail is not that long but you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
