about the general area: Poison Canyon is near Emigrant Trail and is absolutely a great location to explore; camping is available at Overflow Campground. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Mokelumne River - North Fork. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors
just come on up to the Northern Sierra Nevada. Rose Meadow is a good location to check out, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Alpine Campground is a splendid place to camp.
