Yosemite Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. A short spree to Upper Yosemite Falls is always worthwhile, and why not camp at Upper River Campground while you're here at Eagle Peak Trail.
There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Merced River; there's some flowing water
close by, Eagle Peak Creek is a stream you can visit during your stay. Bluejay Creek is near Eagle Peak Trail and is always a joy to stop at, and Indian Canyon is also a good spot to explore.
