California hiking trails - Devil Canyon Trail, Sierra Madre, Los Angeles County

   
  Relatively far from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura you come upon Devil Canyon Trail, but it's one of those places where backcountry trekking is splendid. Trekking in California never gets boring. There are many glorious backcountry hiking trails in California, and Devil Canyon Trail in Los Angeles County is one of them. Around Devil Canyon Trail you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during February, and the driest month of the year is July. Can’t wait to get out in the fresh air, Devil Canyon Trail in Los Angeles County, California is a wonderful
    place for getting out. Devil Canyon Trail is a one trailhead wilderness trail, so in and out is the way to trek it normally. Devil Canyon Trail is quite long, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. A visit to California is not complete without some backcountry hiking. Every backcountry
hiking trail in California has something unique to offer. High temperatures at Devil Canyon Trail during the summertime months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and night lows through the wintertime for Devil Canyon Trail tend to be in the 30's. Different parts of this backpacking trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backpacking trail. Devil Canyon Trail is a great outdoors trail  
of pleasant length having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a perfect backpacking trail for experienced backcountry walkers in great shape. The great outdoors trails of the Sierra Madre are a very pleasant way to see these highlands. Devil Canyon Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,574 feet which is a higher than average number. There are so many backpacking trails in this area. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in site. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. Now, this is roughly a 2.5-day backcountry hike, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. With its 17.6 miles of walking distance; it's a long backpacking trail.

Briefly about the general area:
You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things in the Sierra Madre. Oak Flat Spring is always fun to check out, and you are right next door to Spanish Point if you're here. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Sierra Madre has it all. You have to without doubt dedicate some time to Big Oak Flat since you're here at Devil Canyon Trail; Piru Creek is a good whitewater spot close by.
This place is so good, just look at all the exciting things to do near Devil Canyon Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Agua Blanca Creek; camping is available at Blue Point Campground. Fisher Spring is a wonderful local attraction, and Violin Summit is a wonderful place to take a look at. While you're here at Devil Canyon Trail it's a wonderful idea to stop at Oak Flats, and you can run the rapids of Piru Creek.
Michael Creek is a tremendous local stream; why not camp at Lake Piru if you're here at Devil Canyon Trail.
