California hiking trails - Deep Creek Trail, Central Sierra Nevada, Fresno County

   
  Deep Creek Trail is not very in close proximity to Fresno at all, but It's always enjoyable to hike here. Deep Creek Trail is a mid-length backpacking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a fine trail for experienced trekkers in pleasant shape.     hiking trail has a total elevation difference of 1,608 feet which is about average. Summer at Deep Creek Trail arrives with high temperatures in the 90's; all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 50's with winter
lows in the 30's overnight here at Deep Creek Trail. There are not too many trails in this neighborhood. Can’t wait to get out in the wilderness, Deep Creek Trail in Fresno County, California is just the place. Different parts of Deep Creek Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the hiking and backpacking trail. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. These backpacking trails here in the Central Sierra Nevada are the best way to enjoy these highlands.  
Not much precipitation falls here at Deep Creek Trail; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest month is July. Deep Creek Trail is a one trailhead wilderness hiking trail, so in and out is the way to backcountry trek it normally. Deep Creek Trail is 8 miles long it's a mid length backcountry walk. At parts of the year this region sees very little rain, so do check for current fire restrictions before you go if you plan to bring a stove or make a camp fire. This trek shouldn't take more than 7 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Keep in mind that this is a long wilderness trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. There are numerous great outdoors hiking trails in California, and each one is worth backcountry backpacking.

Briefly about the general area:
Some close by water includes Rush Creek, and Deep Creek Trail is a great location to camp, Cats Head Campground is a great location. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. Everybody loves Bobs Flat, and a glorious site nearby is Blue Canyon.
Just can't get enough of Deep Creek Trail. Don't leave Deep Creek Trail without first paying a visit to Cole Spring. Soaproot Flat is a good place here at Deep Creek Trail, and you can stay the night at Oakie Bear Campground. Getting to Nutmeg Creek from Deep Creek Trail is painless; you can run the rapids of Big Creek Kings River Tributary.
