| | When was the last time you got out in the outdoors a bit? Deal Trail in Ventura County, California is just the place. Here in the good state of California backpacking is a brilliant way to spend some time. Deal Trail is not very near Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura at all, but backcountry trekking is such a fun thing to do, and this is an excellent place to do that. Deal Trail is 13.2 miles long; it's longer than many backpacking trails. Hiking here in the Sierra Madre is a very good way to see these mountaintops. and hiking trails. This backcountry walk should take you about 2 days, so better have big backpack to fit all the stuff you need. Please follow all local rules about fires and camping. This is a two-ended great outdoors trail with two trailheads, so if you can get a ride from someone,
| | you can hike it just one way. This is a long wilderness trail, so don't forget to pack enough supplies. The length of Deal Trail is on the longer side with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a nice backpacking and hiking trail for experienced walkers in splendid shape. There are plenty of backpacking trails in California; each one of them has its own unique prettiness. of good backpacking trails; one of these is Deal Trail in Ventura County. There's not much difference in elevation along the backpacking trail, so you won’t have to worry about different climate zones along your walk. The warmest time of the year at Deal Trail comes with high temperatures
in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Deal Trail plunge into the 30's.

enjoyable things to do in the Sierra Madre. Potrero Seco is a wonderful spot here at Deal Trail, and Tinta Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. Deal Canyon is a delightful place to look at; do put some time aside to spend at Oak Spring while you're
here at Deal Trail.
You'll need more than a day to explore everything Deal Trail has to offer, you can camp at Deal Campground, and Rancho Nuevo Creek is close to Deal Trail and is always a delight to check out. This place, Deal Trail, it just has so much outdoors cool stuff.
It's always delightful to visit Oak Springs. There's so much to do here at Deal Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Rancho Nuevo Campground is a wonderful place for that.
