California hiking trails - Cucamonga Peak Trail, San Gabriel Mountains, San Bernardino County

   
  Every hiking and backpacking trail in California has something unique to offer. Going for a backcountry trek here in California is always an amusing thing to do. Hiking trails are good and plentiful in California, and one of these is Cucamonga Peak Trail in San Bernardino County. In California you never run out of outdoors fun. Cucamonga Peak Trail has a total elevation difference of 3,105 feet, and that is higher than average. This backcountry hike shouldn't take more than 9 hours, but of course some folks walk a bit slower and some a bit faster. Rather
    far from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana you bump into Cucamonga Peak Trail, but backpacking is such an enjoyable thing to do, and this is a good spot to do that. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out, and Cucamonga Peak Trail in San Bernardino
County, California is a good spot for getting out. Trekking here in the San Gabriel Mountains is a great way to explore these hills. This neighborhood does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. During the warmest time of the year highs here at Cucamonga Peak Trail reach the 90's with overnight lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 60's; overnight lows at Cucamonga Peak Trail all through the wintertime regularly  
plunge into the 40's. And keep in mind that there could be temporary safety restrictions in location. This backcountry hiking trail is many miles long having an average number of uphill miles which makes it a wonderful hiking trail for experienced backcountry walkers in great shape. The yearly rainfall here at Cucamonga Peak Trail is about average; February is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Cucamonga Peak Trail has only one trailhead, so in and out is the way to trek it normally. Now this hiking trail is pretty long, so make sure you bring plenty of supplies. With its 10.4 miles of walking distance; it's considered a longer trek. Different parts of Cucamonga Peak Trail are at very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the backcountry trail. This is a region covered with lots of hiking trails.

Here at Cucamonga Peak Trail there are plenty of people from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana, and spots like Miners Bowl are great to stop at. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The San Gabriel Mountains is so good! Lost Creek is a stream that you may run into while here It's always good to check out Columbine Spring.
There's so much to do here at Cucamonga Peak Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Coldwater Campground is a glorious site for that; Sheep Flat is a pretty site any time of year. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the San Gabriel Mountains has to offer. Put some time aside to spend at Dustin Spring since you're here at Cucamonga Peak Trail. Buck Point is in the vicinity of Cucamonga Peak Trail and is a glorious site to explore, and close by you hit upon splendid locations like Icehouse Saddle.
Now, you may believe that's loads but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Cucamonga Peak Trail. There's some flowing water close by, Telegraph Wash is a stream you can stop by while you're here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Cucamonga Peak Trail has to offer, you can camp at Stone House Crossing Campground.
