little rain, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This trail goes through some very different elevations, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. Crooked Tree Trail is a backpacking trail of pleasant length

Briefly about the general area: So many cool things in the Klamath Mountains, just astonishing. Everybody loves Skeleton Glade, and a spree to Crooked Tree Trail wouldn't be complete without taking a look at
Big Spring. Get drenched paddling on Stony Creek, and nearby you'll come across a wooded area called Mendocino National Forest. Mauser Glade is a good location, and a short journey to Twin Springs is always worthwhile. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in
the Klamath Mountains. If you want a little side trip, try Low Gap. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Crooked Tree Trail has to offer, you can camp at Lower Nye Campground. Barker Creek is near Crooked Tree Trail and is always a joy to explore. There's so much
to do here at Crooked Tree Trail that you need to camp here for a while, Thistle Glade Campground is a tremendous place for that. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Take a little trip to Cold Creek if you're here at Crooked Tree Trail; whitewater paddling is splendid on Eel River.
