California hiking trails - Coyote Trail, Sierra Madre, Ventura County

   
  California has plenty of wonderful trails, and one of these is Coyote Trail in Ventura County. Rather far from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura you locate Coyote Trail, but it is a splendid hiking trail. A visit to California is not complete without some backpacking. Backcountry hiking in California never gets boring. Coyote Trail is quite long, so do pack enough food to last the whole trip. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Don’t forget
    to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. There are so many great outdoors trails in this area. The time needed for this backcountry trek is roughly 5.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Coyote
Trail has a total elevation difference of 2,072 feet which is about average. Coyote Trail is 6.4 miles long it's a mid length trek. This backcountry trail has two trailheads, so backcountry backpacking it one way is an option if you can arrange for a ride back. This backcountry trail is a mid length backcountry trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes this a very tough great outdoors trail for advanced backcountry hikers looking for a fine challenge. There are plenty of trails in California; each one of them has its own unique splendor.  
At Coyote Trail throughout the summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 60's with temperatures at Coyote Trail dipping down into the 40's through winter nights. Different parts of this hiking trail are at very different elevations, and that means that some parts of the hiking trail could be very different from other parts of it. Wilderness hiking trails like this one here in the Sierra Madre are the best way to enjoy these summits. Coyote Trail is commonly a reasonably dried out place; all through the month of February you get the most rain around here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Finally, backcountry backpacking time is here again, and Coyote Trail in Ventura County, California is a splendid place for getting out.

You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. East Fork Coyote Creek is a brilliant spot to stop at. Yep, outdoors cool stuff truly is abundant here in the Sierra Madre. If time allows, Channel Islands National Park is a national park worth checking out, and Coyote Trail is good enough to spend more than a day at, Murietta Campground is a good local campground.
Not far from Coyote Trail you stumble on Station Canyon Arm, and one of the best things about this location is its proximity to Oil Piers Beach. If you came to camp Lake Casitas Recreation Area is a glorious place to do that, and you can spend the day on the beach at Rincon Beach. A great place near Coyote Trail is East Casitas Pass, and some of the water nearby flows, like West Fork Coyote Creek.
