makes it a tremendous backcountry trail for experienced backcountry walkers in tremendous shape. There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of trekking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. The stunning backcountry
trails of the Sierra Madre are a really magnificent way to spend quality time in the outdoors.
Briefly about the general area: Yep, outdoors fun things truly is abundant here in the Sierra Madre. Nearby East Casitas Pass is a great spot to go if you're at Coyote Trail,
and a day at Rincon Beach is time well spent. Camping at Coyote Trail is fine fun, Lake Casitas Recreation Area is a fine local campground; during your tour here you'll meet some people from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura for sure. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors
just come on up to the Sierra Madre. Coyote Trail is a delightful place to camp, Murietta Campground is a delightful place, and East Fork Coyote Creek is in the neighborhood of Coyote Trail and is always a diversion to take a look at. West Fork Coyote Creek is one of the streams
close by that might be worth a visit, and beaches are good and Oil Piers Beach is no exception. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Coyote Trail. If you haven’t been to Channel Islands National Park, you should schedule some time for it if you're here, and you should go to Station Canyon Arm when you're here.
