There are two trailheads to chose from, one in each end which means you have the option of backpacking it one way if you have someone to pick you up at the other end. Some parts of this backcountry hiking trail are much higher up than other parts of the backcountry hiking trail, so keep in mind that you may need to dress differently at different elevations. This region does get very dry sometimes, so make sure you check current conditions and fire restrictions with local forest authorities before you head out. Even though this is not a very long backpacking and hiking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens.
