California hiking trails - Corte Madera Trail, Santa Rosa Mountains, San Diego County

   
  Trails are fine and plentiful in California, and Corte Madera Trail in San Diego County is one of them. Here in California backcountry trekking is the fine thing to do. Every California backpacking trail has something unique to offer. Corte Madera Trail goes through some very different elevations which of course means you need to be prepared for different conditions on different parts of the great outdoors hiking trail. Being 4.2 miles long it's a mid length backcountry trek. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, time to get out,
    and if you happen to be in San Diego County of California, Corte Madera Trail is a tremendous local backcountry trail for doing a bit of leg stretching. You'll must go far from San Diego-Carlsbad-San Marcos to get to Corte Madera Trail, but many people like to backcountry hike
here to be near the wilderness. Even though this is not a very long backpacking trail you should still bring some emergency supplies just in case something happens. This vicinity does get very dry sometimes, so don’t forget to check for any current fire restrictions before you go. This backcountry trek shouldn't take more than 3.5 hours, but you never know stuff could go wrong and you could get stuck so be prepared for that. Not much rain falls here at Corte Madera Trail; the month with most of the rain is March; July meanwhile is the driest month. California  
is a wonderful outdoors state. Corte Madera Trail has a total elevation difference of 1,563 feet which is an average number. This is one of many backcountry trails in the surrounding region. Don’t forget to check for any current restrictions or closures before you go. Corte Madera Trail has only one trailhead, so you'll be hiking it in and back out. The picturesque great outdoors hiking trails of the Santa Rosa Mountains are the best way to enjoy these highlands. Corte Madera Trail is a normal length great outdoors hiking trail with an average amount of climbing distance which makes it a splendid backcountry trail for the average person looking for a splendid adventure. During the warm days of summer here at Corte Madera Trail, high temperatures mostly get into the 90's, and the night is somewhat colder of course, generally in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and night lows at Corte Madera Trail during the wintertime generally plunge into the 40's.

Pine Valley Trailer Park is a wonderful campground nearby, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Oak Valley Creek.
Be careful coming to the Santa Rosa Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. If you came for an overnight stay Guatay Campground is a fine location to camp, and since you're here, you might as well explore Pothole Canyon.
